  • Changes. List all changes made in this commit. The more detailed you are, the more easier it will be to solve any related problems.
  • Additions. List all additions to the project separate from the other sections in the form. This way we can see new features or files and when they were added.
  • Removals. List anything that was removed from the project in this section.

Merge Requests

When submitting merge requests, please follow these instructions.

Setup

Navigate to the SIGMA GitLab Server.
Open the project.
Select "Merge Requests" at the left menu.

Create The Request

Select "New Merge Request".
Select the project and the branch you want to merge.
Select "Compare branches and continue"

Titles & Descriptions

Title your merge request.
Select the "Merge Request Review" template.
Describe or link all changes in this merge request.

Assignment

Assign yourself as the "Assignee".
Assign Sean as the reviewer.
Do not select a milestone.
Assign the "Merge Request" label.

Cleanup

Ensure "Delete source branch when merge request is accepted." is CHECKED.
ONLY Project Managers or above should approve merge requests.
